The Bank of Elk River proudly honors Dusty Bredlow for 20 years of dedicated service and expertise. Since joining the bank in October 2005, Dusty has played a key role in supporting local businesses and strengthening the bank’s commercial lending portfolio.
Dusty began his career in consumer lending, transitioning from a corporate role at TCF Bank to pursue his goal of working for a community-focused bank. After three years in consumer lending, Dusty moved into business banking in 2008, where he introduced innovative solutions such as remote deposit and merchant services to local businesses and schools.
In 2011, Dusty achieved his goal of becoming a commercial lender, a role he continues to excel in today. Known for his expertise in real estate and land development, Dusty manages a loan portfolio that has grown from $5 million to nearly $55 million. His work includes complex financing projects, such as helping an expanding manufacturer secure SBA loan during the pandemic, supporting their expansion into medical and aerospace manufacturing.
Dusty shared his journey: “I’ve seen a lot of changes over the years, and I feel comfortable here. It’s been rewarding to adapt and continue serving our customers.”
