The Bank of Elk River is proud to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of Becky Moritz, Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender. Becky joined the bank in 2006 and has played a significant role in supporting the growth and strength of the bank’s commercial portfolio.
Becky began her banking career at First National Bank, where she worked in a variety of roles, including teller, personal banker, universal banker, and commercial administrative assistant, before moving into credit analysis and SBA lending. She later served as a credit analyst at MN Business Finance before joining The Bank of Elk River as a commercial lender.
Over the past two decades, Becky has helped hundreds of businesses grow, expand, transition ownership, and thrive. She is known for her deep expertise, approachable style, and ability to build long-standing relationships with customers across many industries, including transportation, small business, and family-owned companies.
“Becky has played a very important and positive role in the achievement and growth of the bank,” said Rob Riedel, Director of Commercial Lending. “Her expertise, hard work, and enthusiasm have made her incredibly successful with customers, prospects, and coworkers. Becky is always able to find opportunities and friendships.”
A graduate of St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Becky has grown from Officer to Senior Vice President during her tenure. She was also the first woman from the organization to receive the prestigious Top Women in Finance award.
Becky’s commitment to relationship banking, paired with her strong credit background, has made her a trusted partner to businesses throughout the region.
