How to Prepare for the Upgrade

  1. Verify your contact information: Confirm your email address, phone number, and mailing address are accurate by logging into digital banking and selecting the ‘Customization’ tab. Update appropriate fields as needed.
  2. Check your inbox: The Bank of Elk River is committed to keeping you in the loop every step of the way! Watch your email for updates.
  3. Explore our video tutorials: We will have several video tutorials for you to view and navigate our new digital experience in the upcoming weeks.
  4. Download transaction history: If you require more than 120 days' worth of transaction history, log in to digital banking to download your needed transaction history before November 16, 2021.
  5. Save the date: Plan on downloading the new mobile app on your device after 8am on November 16, 2021.

  • Why the change?

    The Bank of Elk River is committed to providing the most secure, integrated digital platform available for our customers. You will see significant improvement in usability, accessibility to your team of bankers, and ways to streamline your banking. We've made every change with you in mind.

  • When will the upgrade take place?

    The new digital banking experience will go live at 8am on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

  • Do I need to enroll?

    If you are currently enrolled in The Bank of Elk Rivers digital banking, no action is required.

    On or after November 16, 2021, there will be two ways to enroll.

    1. Download the Bank of Elk River mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Once downloaded, it will prompt you to sign up for digital banking where you can create a User ID and password.

    2. Visit our digital banking login page to self-enroll.

  • Will I have to download a new Bank of Elk River app?

    Yes. If you already have the Bank of Elk River mobile app you will be prompted to upgrade. If you do not have our app, visit the App Store or Google Play Store on or after November 16, 2021 to download the new app. The good news? Your login credentials will remain the same.

  • How do I enroll in digital banking?

    If you are not a current digital banking user and would like to get set up, you can self-enroll by visiting https://www.thebankofelkriver.com/enroll or by visiting your nearest branch location.

    On or after November 16, 2021, there will be two ways to enroll.

    1. Download the Bank of Elk River mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Once downloaded, it will prompt you to sign up for digital banking where you can create a User ID and password.

    2. Visit https://secure.thebankofelkriver.com/enroll to self-enroll.

  • Will my username/ID and password change?

    No, your username/ID and password will remain the same. You may choose to change your username and password at any time.

  • Will this upgrade affect my scheduled bills being paid?

    No. The upgrade will not affect bills that are scheduled to be paid. They will go out as scheduled.


    New transfers or new automatic bill payments cannot be set up between November 15, 2021 at 6pm through November 16, 2021 at 8am due to the conversion.

  • Will this upgrade affect my direct deposits?

    No. Automatic deposits will go directly into your account as normal. The platform change will not alter this.

  • Will this upgrade affect my transaction history?

    There will be 120 days of transaction history available on the new platform.
