Online Security Enhancements
The Bank of Elk River enhanced security for the login process for online banking on Wednesday, August 25. If it has been more than 180 days since you last updated your challenge questions, you will be asked to do so at this time. Some things to expect:
1. A new login screen.
2. On the password screen, you will see a random image. Selection of your personal image will be made after your password has been entered.
3. The first time you log into your World Wide Banker Account through the new screen, you will be prompted to select a Watermark from the Image Library. From this point, you will see your selected image after you enter your Personal ID.
4. If it has been more than 180 days since you last updated your challenge questions, you will be asked to do so at this time.
5. Going forward, you will be asked to update your challenge questions every 180 days. As always, these questions will be asked to verify your identity if our system detects any uncharacteristic or unusual behavior involving your account.
