Compliance Assistant


The Bank of Elk River is seeking a full-time Compliance Assistant to add to our team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for many operational duties of the Compliance department which includes: assisting the Compliance Officer/Bank Secrecy Act Officer in monitoring and providing support to ensure conformity and adherence with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Assists in the coordination and support of compliance audits and examinations. Aids in research of new and changing laws and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as an internal resource for staff with compliance questions regarding regulations and products.
  • Identifies compliance concerns through ongoing monitoring including follow-up and resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Maintains tracking logs and is responsible for the oversight and disposition of all compliance review processes.
  • Monitors and coordinates compliance activities of other departments to ensure departments are in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements. May assist or perform compliance training as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from 2 year college or technical school preferred and/or 1-2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior bank compliance or Consumer/Real Estate Lending experience is preferred

Electronic Banking Operations Specialist


The Bank of Elk River is seeking an Electronic Banking Operations Specialist to add to our team.

Job Summary:

Responsible for the implementation, enhancement, and support of the Bank’s electronic banking products and services. Provide exceptional customer service and support of our electronic banking products and services to internal employees as well as external customers, in person, over the phone and through email.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Serves as primary internal support for electronic banking products and services, including online banking, mobile banking, cash management services, bill payment services, online account opening, voice banking and remote deposit services; including employee training on electronic banking products.
  • Responsible for implementation, enhancement, and support of the Bank’s electronic banking products and services including research, exploration and navigating new electronic banking solutions and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Provides end user support in person and over the phone to assist in resolving customer inquiries, including working with external customers as needed to support the Bank’s electronic banking products and services.
  • Assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring of electronic banking policies and procedures including risk analysis of new electronic banking products and services.
  • Supports the electronic banking fraud protection products
  • Assists the IT Department as needed
  • Observes security procedures
  • High level of proficiency with bank computer programs and Microsoft Office.

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a 4 year college or university preferred and/or 1-3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two years operational experience in a financial institution operations, sales or customer service background required
  • Experience in Electronic Banking products including digital payments preferred

Commercial Lender


The Bank of Elk River is seeking an experienced and energetic Commercial Lender to add to our lending staff. We provide a professional yet fun environment that recognizes and rewards you for your results.


This position is responsible for developing and managing a quality commercial loan portfolio. Provide exceptional customer service while managing all aspects of the borrowing relationship. Identify opportunities to broaden customer relationships and actively cross-sell the bank’s retail products and services to generate additional revenue. This position requires a strong knowledge of business cash cycles, cash flow analysis, real estate financing and financial statements.

Job Location:

Main Office - Elk River

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Possess a solid understanding of various types of business borrowers. Fully understand business cash cycles, debt service and cash flow. Possess the knowledge and skills to review and underwrite complex commercial loan requests.
  • Possess the drive and ability to successfully market the bank and develop new business leads and quality loan business.
  • Understands SBA products and programs.
  • Actively calls on existing customers and potential customers to generate new loans to support bank loan growth, yield and portfolio objectives.

  • Minimum of 5 years of Commercial Lending experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
