At The Bank of Elk River, the well-being of our customers and employees is of paramount importance.

At The Bank of Elk River, you are our first priority. We understand your finances and your need for access. Due to guidance from the CDC regarding social distancing and the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are temporarily closing all of our lobbies, but want to assure you we have numerous ways to continue serving you.


We will be temporarily closing our lobbies, but our drive-thrus will remain open for business. Our team is available to support you in-person (by appointment only) and by telephone, email and drive-thru during business hours. We encourage customers with complex transactions, safe deposit box needs or new account assistance to call us.

NOTE: Monday-Friday we are limiting the number of people in the building at one time to ensure compliance with federal guidelines. Saturdays we will not be accepting in-person appointments. Please have your ID readily available. Thank you!

Drive-thru Hours:

  • Main Street - 8:30am-5pm M-F
  • School Street - 8-6pm M-F and 8:30am-12pm on Saturday
  • Otsego - 8-6pm M-F and 8:30am-12pm on Saturday
  • Zimmerman - 8-6pm M-F and 8:30am-12pm on Saturday

We sincerely appreciate your patience as wait times may increase at our drive-thrus. As always, you can visit any of our Bank of Elk River ATMs or the 32,000 MoneyPass ATMs across the country for access to cash and to make deposits.

4. Real-Time Account Alerts:
Text Banking is a free service that allows you to quickly request and receive account information via text message. We make it convenient for you to manage your account. Click here for information on set up.

5. Telephone Banking:
Our automated telephone banking system is available 24/7 by calling 763-441-3380. Using speech or touch tone, this service is available in both English and Spanish.

Preventative Measures:
As a precaution for the safety of our customers and employees, we have implemented additional health and safety measures:

  • In addition to a full-time cleaning service, commonly-touched surfaces (like door handles, drive-thru canisters, etc.) are being disinfected throughout the day.
  • Employees have been advised that they are to stay home if they are sick and that they are to wash their hands often.
  • Our leadership team is conducting training with staff on best practices. We are continually monitoring information published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and in the event that additional precautionary measures are needed, we have contingency plans in place that will enable us to continue operating.
